Now, she’s co-parenting her 2 boys with her cheating ex and finding her way back in the work force. What she doesn’t need is the complication of a man. But, that’s exactly what she gets, especially when her best friends convince her that once she needs is some good sex (for once in her life), all her mess will appear less messy!Dante is a young millionaire. He made his money in the tech world and loves what he does. He’s jaded by the women that are attracted to him as all they seem to notice is his money. However, when he sees Maren, he’s immediately attracted to her. Yes, she’s a little older but he wants what he wants and right now it’s her. All he has to do is convince her to take a chance.
The attraction between Maren and Dante is palpable. It doesn’t hurt that he’s attractive and says the right things but he’s also incredibly kind to her and her boys. Dante loves that she’s a doting mom but also passionate about life and figuring out what makes her happy.
The challenge between them is the age difference and that they’re both just out of failed relationships. Neither wants to put their heart out only to have it smashed again.
I enjoyed this book because it seemed to be very considerate and not belittling to their legitimate relationship concerns. Their arguments were mature and understandable. I can’t wait to read about the next brother now!

Winter Renshaw amazes me everytime. Reckless is second book pertaining to the Amato Brothers. This is Dante's story he is a multimillionaire who is twenty seven and recently split from his ex finance. Maren is a recently divorced thirty five year old with two growing boys. They see eachother in a bar on the night her friends throw her a divorce party. Her Best friend Saige decides that Dante and Maren need to meet for a wild night of emotional less sex. Well...after dirty texting and lengthy conversations Maren final says yes to the attractive younger man. What happens when he final kisses her ? Can their age differences between them stop the love they have for eachother? Or will one night lead to forever ? Well for the answers check out Reckless it's a little laughter, dirty talking, sexy time between the sheets. Mostly it's about two people who get to know eachother and find out age doesn't matter when it comes to your heart and soul. If there was ever a wish for the perfect man, Dante is it. I mean I sat there reading like "Where can I find this man?!? I NEED him!" The guy OOZES sex appeal from his words to his actions. The things he said to Maren were hot enough to melt your panties and sweet enough to melt your heart. It doesn't get any better than that. Maren was SO REAL. I love stories about older women finding love/love again because there aren't enough of those in my opinion. The chemistry between the Dante and Maren was undeniable and Winter Renshaw made you feel it with every word on every page from the time the two first met. That list at the end?? TALK.ABOUT.SWOON! If I haven't made it clear, obviously Dante is my new book bf out of the deliciously wonderful array of men that make up Winter Renshaw's collection. I received a copy from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review.
Maren is practical, organized, makes lists, and is a mother to two wonderful boys. At thirty-five, she's newly divorced after spending thirteen years married to her first boyfriend.
Dante is the man sitting at the far end of the hotel bar where Maren is blowing out the candles of her divorce cake, celebrating six months apart from a man who never really appreciated her.
Dante. *sigh* He's confident, not arrogant. He's successful and charming and can't seem to take his eyes off the woman with the enchanting laugh at the end of the bar. The first woman who's managed to gain his attention since he parted with his fiancee several months before.
Maren attempts to approach him to quiet the challenge of her friends. But she immediately balks when she spots Dante is young and handsome. In her mind, there's no way a striking man like him would be interested in a woman with baggage and battle scars.
Their relationship seemed to develop at a brisk pace but the timing in the story implied it sped by even faster. So I'm not sure exactly how much time sped by before they finally got together (maybe a couple of weeks). But when they connected, it was strong, the chemistry evident, and the fireworks blazing. Aside from an obvious attraction that oozed off the page, there was an ever-present love brewing between them.
While they, as a couple, worked for me, it's the other elements in the story that just didn't really connect well and seemed forced. The connection of exes was a bit unbelievable. One connection, might have worked. But two? I felt that was pushing it a bit much. Then, the link at work as well. And the location of the house. It was all just too much and made this part of the story a bit unbelievable for me. But it was slightly offset by the relationship between them, Dante's relationship with Maren's boys, and the entire feeling of family throughout the story.
I enjoyed the initial teasing, chat sessions (although I hated the ALL CAPS lol), the final chapter and epilogue, and Dante's list to Maren toward the end was swoon worthy. I really would have liked to have known what happened with her business since it was a plot point in the story. Overall, it was another enjoyable Winter Renshaw read and I am happy I read it.
