I loved this book. I could feel the romance between Maria, and Prince Alexandros float off the page. I could tell the two really cared for one another as read. My only complaint against this book, is that it didn’t have an epilogue. It felt like it just ended. Maybe it was such a good book, I just didn’t want it to end, but an epilogue would have been nice.

I loved the way when she was mad at Alex that she called him the prince of arrogance. The banter between the two was really good. I have read a lot of books proclaiming to be romance. Most have hot, sizzling chemistry. This book was different. It was a true romance. I loved the way Alex cared for Maria when she was ill. There were so many little things that he did, that you could tell that he really loved Maria. It took him a little while to realize that himself, but the journey was beautiful.

I enjoyed this book. It was sexy and passionate. Alex and Maria were great characters and this story definitely has a happily ever after. The only comment I would make as I felt the ending was rushed. I felt that could have been extended a bit. Other than that, I liked the book and definitely recommend it.
I enjoy Sandra Marton but that doesn't mean she can write a jerk-off prince with fall on her back h and reader will automatically sigh. The fall back in his arms to his ego-tripping, sex-fuelled demands, on second meeting from the humiliating dump made me gag. Ugh. A story in short doses. JerkPrince's sex obsession and promiscuous pride is disgusting.

Ordinarily I'm not a fan of stories with royalty of made up countries I usually find them rather ridiculous. But this is by one of my favourite M&B authors, she manages to add that extra bit of sparkle that just draws the reader in.

Prince Alexandros Karedes is despatched by his father to bring back Maria Santos a jewellery designer. To create a special necklace for the queens 60th birthday. Another designer had initially been chosen but had gone bust. So Maria as second choice is next in line. But, Maria's initial trip to Alexandros's country had ended with her meeting him not knowing who he was, but he thought she had used him to get the commission from his father. So when he arrives in New York to tell her the good news, he also plans a little revenge.

Emotional read with two very well drawn leads. I loved how Maria drove Alexandros crazy, but his reaction was it's her fault. That made me laugh. Filled with plenty of romance and drama this is an entertaining read.
Ms. Marton knows how to write a plot that draws the reader in and keeps you reading. I could not stop reading
This book was good. Although I must say if you are into trying to keep a series going you should read this before you read the Pregnant Housekeeper one (I forgot the whole title). This one kind of explains how the diamond was found to be missing in the first place so like I said if you are trying to keep the "series" going its best to read this one first. This book was good and sad too at the same time. I liked it and I liked how the ending came about. Gread read for those rainy nights (or days for those of you that dont work)
This is a real Cinderella Story complete with a Puerto Rican- American from the Bronx no less. I thought it was awesome. The heroine is Maria Santos a very talented jewelry designer who is invited to the kingdom to design Queen Tia's 60th birthday piece of jewelry. She meets prince Alexandros and in true Harlequin fashion they hit it off and have sex, she was a virgin. In the morning Alex hears her talking to someone on the phone saying that her chances are great at winning, he jumps to the conclusion that she just bedded him for the job and sends her packing. She didn't get the price that day but the jeweler that was chosen had to be dropped so eventually Alexandros had to get to NYC and bring her back and he does but not just as the jeweler but forcing her to be his mistress. I like Maria, she's no push over, she's just like Jenny from the block! I read it in one day.
