Yes, it is for beginners but that does not mean it deserves less stars for the review. Very helpful for when you wonder why the hell your workings aren't working. It's short but not full of fluffy BS either.Product details

The Art of Creative Magick edition by S Connolly Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
This helped me perfect writing out my own spells and rituals. Easy to understand. Would suggest to anyone who has an intermediate knowledge of magick.
An older book I found when scrolling through the page I thought I would give it a shot... It was nice that everything was spelled out (heehee) towards Noobs but not so dang simple that we were treated like we were simple. I continue to enjoy Ms Connolly's works and would reccommend this purchase it is a good fall back basic in anyones magicks library.
A wonderfull little volume of inspirational truth for anyone who needs it. It doesn't say anymore than it needs to. Just a reminder to be the creator.
Pretty good short book for the beginning practitioner or one who wonders why their magic is hit or miss. It boils down to doing things using what feels right to you, what you are comfortable with, and what your goals are. The author gives some practical advice and some good examples. the "creative" part comes in by her consistent reminder for you to make the magic your own rather than copy another person's exactly. In fact, if you only read this review then that last sentence sums up the entirety of the book
It was good but I am a little past this book. It would be great for a beginner. It resonated with me as I feel many aspects of magic and ritual are fluid. The author assures the beginner that personalization is not only encouraged, but makes your work stronger.
A concise straight to the point book with great insight. It encourages thought and creation yet gives you some examples and reasoning to get you going. Geared more toward beginners but has information we may need reminded of. Proud to have this book in my occult library.
This book is a charm. It's a wonderful book for people interested in magick, regardless of their spiritual path. The Art Of Creative Magick is a simple guide for anyone who is new to magick and has some questions, which are addressed in the pages. I could tell the author wrote it as a great introductory.
This book opened doors to me. I read it in one sitting, and after that, my misconceptions about magick vanished. It was clear, straight to the point, and informative. The author even makes a couple references to the Satanic path, which was a plus. I'm glad I finally found a book about magick that doesn't focus on a particular path. It is not very biased. It inspires the reader to create their own altar, their own personal pantheon, their own spells/rituals, their own path. This book contains the essence of independence that I favor in my Satanism. It's a great example of what I talk about on my blog the importance of independence.
I recommend this book to any new comers of Satanism, Wicca, Paganism, or even someone who is misinformed about magick and what it really is. Anyone who is interested in the topic of magick should pick this read up.
I do not recommend this book to advanced practitioners, though, because it explains the basics that the advanced magicians already know about, and it wouldn't be of much use to them. However, I will keep this book in my collection, even in the years to come.
The only thing I don't like about this book is that it's too short. The author was great at emphasizing the fact that whatever you do is your choice, but she could have given some more examples to paint the picture. But still a great read! I recommend this!
Yes, it is for beginners but that does not mean it deserves less stars for the review. Very helpful for when you wonder why the hell your workings aren't working. It's short but not full of fluffy BS either.
